People who use direct deposit also will be among the first to receive the payments starting April 28. Direct deposits will be made daily and completed on the dates listed below. Payments should be received by close of business on the dates listed below.
DIRECT DEPOSIT

Last two SSN digits: Payments will be transmitted no later than (and received by the end of the day of):
00 through 20 May 2
21 through 75 May 9
76 through 99 May 16




Paper checks will also go out based on Social Security number. For Social Security numbers ending in 00 through 09, the paper checks will be mailed starting May 9 and will continue through May 16. A similar process will be repeated in the following weeks.

Please allow additional delivery time, perhaps 3 to 5 days, since the paper checks are being sent through the mail.

me and the wife got a notice that we'd be receiving our $1200 on Friday. Went ahead and bought a new mattress in anticipation. It was $1700+ though :S

holy ----, i wouldve done direct deposit if i knew i was gonna have to wait 3 months as opposed to 1... how am i supposed to stimulate the economy if i dont get my money ::)

Yeah seems since I used turbotax and went through direct deposit, supposedly I have to wait for a paper check which will be ------- JUNE.

I've already been waiting 3 months for state taxes.

I don't want to hear bitching from any of you.

We used direct deposit with TurboTax and it was deposited in our account last Wednesday.

Well, that's good news, but they still haven't paid me :(

I think the site said it might take up to 2 weeks for additional processing

I hope it's not because I didn't sign and mail the forms they told me to.

No, those forms are bullshit. Don't worry about that. Did you pay for your taxes up front or did you have the fee deducted from your tax return? I guess that makes a difference. We paid for ours up front.
