Stealthmode Performance **Oil Line Revisions**

Beginning the first of next month, all oil lines will include the following 3 changes:

1. All oil line kits will now include 4 ft. feed lines instead of 3 ft. feedlines. The kit we have now does work on DOHC motors, but it sometimes requires routing through intake manifold runners. With an extra foot added to all kits, customers will have more options when it comes to how they want to route feedlines.

2. All oil line kits will now come in AN-3 instead of AN-4. I'm of the opinion (as is my supplier) that the difference between -4 and -3 feedlines amounts to a little less than nothing. Most that use AN-4 feedlines tend to share this opinion, while guys that prefer AN-3 love to hate the AN-4. With a AN-3 feed line, I feel like we will be able to please all of the AN-4 haters, and the AN-4 guys don't seem to care either way. (AN-4 kits will still be available by special order)

3. All oil line kits will retail for $85.00, instead of the previous $75, due to the added costs of making the above changes. For a complete kit that is 100% functional, stainless steel, and is the only kit on the market to use custom TunerToys.com block fittings and CNC drain flanges, I feel that I still have the best value for the price.

These changes are based on the overall function of the kit and the ease of use by the end users.

I started this company as an HMT member finding suppliers for all the parts I needed. Sometimes I do google searches for "Stealthmode performance" or "Stealthmode Oil lines" and it's crazy how many sites pop up with a mention or referance to this company. I truely owe everything Stealthmode Performance stands for to the HMT members that have supported me over the years and made mentions on other sites, ect. Just want to say THANK YOU again. Also, a big thanks to Craig @ TunerToys.com for all the help in getting the people what they want in a timely manner. ;)

The new kits are available immediately through TunerToys.com (sales@tunertoys.com) for those that would like one. The reason all of these changes will take place at the first of next month is because I have to phase out the -4 3ft inventory that I have.

Thank you all. -Steve

4ft. fit's MUCH better on the b/h series, good move (guess you had to do something to redeem yourself for carrying lambo doors :-X ) :)

You know all the 3an guys are now going to say that since you changed the size that proves that 4an fucks things up.

And BTW check my sig, I sell these kits for $80 ;)

Re: Stealthmode Performance **Oil Line Revisions**

The -3 guys will always say what they want. That's fine. :)

Worth every penny of that $85 steve ;)

btw since you're clearing inventory, can I get a replacement for that fitting ive been havin troubles with? the 14b oil feed fitting at the turbo.

let me know what you want for it.

Re: Stealthmode Performance **Oil Line Revisions**

i've used -4 on both of my set ups, as well as every set up i've done for others and never had a problem with excessive oil pressure. if you have a decent turbo, there should be no reason to have to use an oil restrictor to keep it from smoking. half of the people that complain have 10 dollar turbo's with the comp. scraping the housing and been sitting in a junk yard for 10 years.

Thanks yO!!! Even with the phasing out of the -4 stuff, those 7/16 fittings are a hot commodity. I sent every last one I had to Craig today. I'm going to Ca. this weekend and I can pick you one up if you can wait until then.

Re: Stealthmode Performance **Oil Line Revisions**

sure that works.

a local has a banjo fitting to -3an fitting he was gonna let me try out. That won't do me any good will it?

steve you jew bastard, ive hooked you up with so many of my friends with their turbo setups, ive flamed flamenco t on HT about how yours were cheaper and better, stole his customers for you, and ive even bought 2 or 3 kits from you with my own money. i <3 j000

Re: Stealthmode Performance **Oil Line Revisions**

Fook, a -3 to banjo isn't going to help you. :-\

Scottsi, I have no idea what you just said. ???

so then wtf is your problem. the only complaint i have is those damn barb fittings never fit into the fitting properly. it feels like the threads are different on the two. haha. making my drain line hang lower than it already is with an hf manifold >:(. but i still got love for you :-*

MikeJ-2009 04-18-2005 10:25 PM

Re: Stealthmode Performance **Oil Line Revisions**

The thread pitch on the drain flange to barb fitting is something we'll be working on in the future. A good 3 or 4 threads deep on an unpressurized line holds just fine, but I can understand every thread counts when using that hf manifold. ;)

Cause cough cough I'd go broke cough cough.

I'm an HMT'er first. I started this for my HMT parts, and then just decided to buy them in bulk and sell to HMT. Of course this is somewhat of an income for me, but if there's really any question of whether I do this for money, take a look at my shoes. They're busted ass vans from 03'. :'(

and if you must know, I wear the same socks for 4 days in a row to alleviate the water bills of washing them. 8)
