i say if you want a fast car for little cash.. and dont mind dealing with some problems every once in a while... go dsm.... mid 13's for a few hundred bucks is no joke.. especially with the 1.7 60 foot of the awd.... stay away from the FWD cars though unless you like buying tires really often.. cause all the do is lose traction
oh and get a 1G 6 bolt is mo' betta'

Re:Staty with honda or go DSM ???
I just scrolled down and posted so I might be double posting. Anyways I looked into buying a dsm so I did alot of home work on them. Turns out they do have tranny problems, and the 2nd Gens are very well known for Crank Walk. There was a bunch of other stupid problems with them also but I can't remember what they all were. And from what most people on DSM.org and dsmtuners.com say a stock 2gen will only run mid to high 15's some low 16's depending on the driver. But for about $5-6000 you could be running in the 12's So I say go honda and boost it up, you'll spend less and in the long run probably have a faster car.
