I went to the suzuki dealer today to get some oil and a filter, the dude behind the counter was like your too young for that bike you should have a sport bike or something. I just like the cruisers and old school bobbers, but I also like naked sport bikes as well.

Naked sport bikes are cool too. I like the sv1000s. ducatti monster and a few others. id like to have a victory 8 ball with wire wheels on it instead of the lame mags, we had one at my old dealership because someone wanted to swap to mags off of a vegas he just bought that came with wires, it was sexy.

Newsflash, rawr, v-twins leak oil uncontrollably and require a lot of maintainence because they shake themselves to death. They kind of suck.

news flash, hype. harleys vibrate because middle aged men love vibrating steel in between their legs so harley makes them shake like hell. we NEVER had a problem with vibration with the victory's and they NEVER leaked oil. hell we've got an 8 year old harley outside that gets ridden all the time and it still doesn't leak any oil and still runs strong, has about 30k on it too. Shakes like a ----------er though. victorys were awesomely balanced, ohc and fuel injected and came with badass factory tuning software, we really never had any problems with them. shop owners bike had over 50k miles on it and it didn't leak a drop.

You mentioned SV1000 and Ducati Monsters. I know guys with SVs, and my machinist owns a Monster. To quote him, his Ducati and most all v-twins leak oil and are maintainence -----s due to being v-twins.

. I've never messed with a ducatti or an sv for more than an hour riding other peoples at the track so I don't know ---- about the engines. I have messed with a lot of harleys and have built several victory's 100ci factory stroker kit option style and they're all pretty soild motors. I just think its more enjoyable to ride around on a torquey bike than a ***** out I4 sport bike, they're fun but I just don't enjoy the power band unless its in a drag chassis .

It's either because you don't want to replace shiny, expensive fiberglass cosmetic pieces when you lay the bike down, or maybe it's the same reason I was blasting around Spartanburg last night in a turbo Miata with no hood or fenders last night aka showing your ***.
