Started a new workout plan, looking for tips to improve it.
Ok, so I just started college and got a membership at Gold's and i'm looking to burn fat and gain some muscle. Right now, I'm taking NO2 right when i wake up, drinking one protein shake for breakfast (23 g of protein), having a south beach diet meal replacement bar at around 10 or 11 (19 g of protein, 210 calories, 0 sugar), a second dose of NO2 around noon, a high protein low fat lunch at like 1, creatine at around 3, lift at 30, more creatine right after workout, another protein shake about 30 min after workout, and then an oven roasted chicken breast sub at subway (about 50g of protein, 700 cal, 10g fat) with no cheese or mayo for dinner. I do cardio on saturdays and take sundays off. I know a bunch of people on here are hella knowledgable about this ----, so I'm just looking for someone to point out holes in my program and/or advice for improvement. Thanks a lot fellas.
EDIT oh yeah, i only drink a lot of water, diet grape juice, and deit v8 splash. Just by cutting out pepsi, i've lost 7 lbs in 3 weeks.

To lose weight, I've always had good luck by smoking more cigarettes. And to gain muscle, uh, I haven't really started on that plan yet, but hotrex might be able to help. lol

Try to eat as much animal (meat) protein as possible. Bars, shakes and powders are not ideal since they contain protein derived from beans, whey, milk and eggs. They should be used as a supplement to your meal plan if you do not have enough time durring the day to eat a meal. They shouldn't be replacing a meal. A fast absorbing shake mixed with water (not milk) is a perfect idea for post work out.
Diet is the most important aspect in what you are trying to do. In order to bolster a proper and benificial insulin spike and to keep your muscles in a constant anabolic state you must eat correctly at the correct times. Supps do nothing to help you here. Theres plenty of information online to help you make the proper decissions regarding meal planning.
You want fast absorbing carbs right before your workout. Fast abosrbing carbs are typically man made carbs. Slow absorbing carbs after your workout and before bed so that your body has enough food through your whole sleep cycle. I'd also consider a vitamin supp.

bodybuilding.com is everything you need.
i fully believe in supliments. creatine, protein, and no2 will do the trick. I just spent the last 3 weeks (I was doing nothing in Korea) reading magazines and listining to this guy i work with (who is a amature bodybuilder) blab about this ----. neadless to say, i learned alot, and got motivated, so I to am finally (after 4 years of talking about it) am starting a workout routein. im starting on just a ~2000 calorie diet, high protein, little to no sugar, at least 4 meals a day...and suplementing 2 shakes a day, and taking lipo 6....thats for the first month. then the second month (after my retarded body figures out im doing something with it) im gonna start with some creatine, and prolly a testrostone booster. not sure yet.
hop on www.bodybuilding.com ....its lot more than just "bodybuilding" its everything from your 400lb lard *** tryin to loose 200lbs to the full out pro bodybuilders sharing knowledge.

make sure you build ALL your muscle groups. unless you want to have huge biceps but no triceps. Itll look like your triceps caved in, eww. or how about, big upper body but skinny legs. its all about being proportional.

Drink a glass of milk after your workouts. seriously
aslo, don't do drugs and stay in school.
Buy some LOW calorie WHEY PROTIEN shakes.
MetRx is the ---- for total nutrition shakes.
try to get 1g of protien per 1 lb that you weigh.
get your legs, back and torso strong before going for your guns, you'll actually be able use your strength when your done.
