Now, when the top center part of the weld joining the collector blew out, THAT was SSAC's fault.

BTW, I'm really tempted to insert something wierd in place of that picture, since it's hosted on my gallery @ RPP.com >:D

new model isn't going to do anything if the workmanship and quality are still crap, it'll still break, even if its the most perfect design anyone could possibly think of, if its put together like crap, its going to be just that, crap.

ok good so im not the only one seeing that someone modified the flange and then boltd a 35lbs turbo to it. this is also teh same thing i say on another car. along with where the hell did route his wastegate pipe that it would break like that also. granted some of there stuff is ---- but as jeff is seeing and other off and on its not all that bad at times. it always comes down to you get what you pay for.

Yeah, you can see where the metal broke off right above the weld - improper heat treating, and granular oxidation or whatsis at the weld joint due to the collector not being backpurged. That, and 16 gauge garden variety steel isn't designed for the stress and weight of being a load bearing member, too.

The collector blowing out was complete ----, though. ;)

Depends on how you mount your turbo. Just clock that bitch wherever you want it.

the oil routing is an easy fix. just loosen a few bolts and voila
