i could kill one in my 4th gen celica gts ;) in some twistys. they suck ---- when it comes to there suspention. id rather have an rsx and sacrafice qm time. but thats because i like dangerously hauling ass down curvy roads.

yea? and i'm the idiot right behind you...i was just making some runs around the backroads with my sisters rsx before i have to give it back tomorrow

is this true? does anyone have any imput on how they handle?
i'm looking for new cars and i can't make up my damn mind, i doubt i would ever buy an american car unless it was a 300c or a truck but still this car is pretty cool when it comes down to it.

Add $5K worth of stuff too an SRT4 and see how it does against a stock $25K wrx, hehehe.

BTW I bet a wrx would get its ass WHIPPED from a 20mph roll against the SRT ( I bet the EVO and Sti would have a hard time as well ).

The comment about upgrading the EVOs turbo... Well, its a Big TD05H-16G running 19.5psi from the factory, and I'm seen some pretty UN-impressive numbers from an upgraded EVO, where as the SRT just goes NUTS over aftermarket parts.
The STi is only running like 14.5psi and has much more room to grow.

The stock base wrx tranny is crap ( 1st gear = bye bye ).

Just to cap it all off, the SRT4's MPH is a 13.3-13.2 mph....

Also saw an Sti run a 13.6 ( best time ) at the track last time I was there.

that is the only thing i dont like about the EVO's, I hardly see that much left when you are running that much boost from the factory.

I rather gain alot more HP, without rippin the motor apart. That is why i preffer the WRX and STI.

No its not that big, but we are comaring a 2.0L with a B16G vs a 2.4L with a TD04... If the 2.4L had the TD05H-B16G then the 271crank HP evo would be put to shame. Hell, the 240WHP neon makes at least the same power as the EVO at the crank !!! With 3.5 less stock psi and a MUCH smaller turbo.

The sti is great, but not only does it cost 50% more than the SRT, BUT did you all know that suby tech are TRAINED to look for aftermarket parts that will void your warrenty !!
