I test drove one. I loved it! I am considering it for my next car.
stock it pushed about 10psi.
LSD
close ratio gears.
i would say low 14's stock.
a guy at the track has one, cams, WG set to about 15psi, exhaust, cone filter, and metal charge pipes, and hes in the 13's on somekind of DOT approved tires because he comes to the track, pays, goes straight to the staging lanes and kills everyone.

without that ugly *** wing it looks a little better, but still too Neon-ish...its got so much potential though, I'm sure the looks can be easily tolerated when you're pushing like 350+ off a few easy mods

who cares. you arent driving a new car, which is what you are paying for, not the speed.

yea i also test drove one and was thinking about getting one. thats why i asked but i go back and forth if its worth the money.first i want to finish turbing my honda and go from there. and alot of people tell me its a dodge.

well my friend here has a SRT-4 with a boost controller, and new piping, and few extra gauges interior.
first gear we are the same, second, i start pulling away.
i still beat him by one and a half car length, up to the end of third gear all the time when he is pushing 14-15 psi, if we continue on the Highway i DESTROY him (my turbo is huge, compared 2 his).......
BUT, his car gives him NO problems.
I FIND MYSELF CALLING HIM MANY TIME FOR A RIDE TO A LOCAL AUTO STORE FOR PARTS.
and i am slowly getting 2 like his car. he has so much more potential. with a SAFC and bigger injectors, he can pull some crazy ponies off that SRT-4.
........SRT-4 is a GREAT CAR for the money...

My next car is going to be a SRT-4. My civic ran 14.6@96mph, BUT I have to work on it all the time and that gets old.
Plus I have a 3 year old daughter.
I love the way the neon says " why the ---- do the rear seats need power windows ? that adds weight !!".
On the flip, it has air bags, and prob. would handle a crash about 100X better than are hondas... Although it does weigh more than I expected.
I'm all about power in my cars 95% of the time, but when I get my neon the first 3 mods are:
level out the rear end of the car some how !!
Shave the wing !!
And try to make the fact that its a 4-door a little less odvous ( like the Alfa Remao 156 ).
Tint wouldn't hurt either...
