Has anyone raced any stock or modded Srt's an what were some of the verdicts. I blew my head gasket last month race my cousins Srt-4. I was racing untuned(I know, I know) But I just put my kit on and change out a dizzy so it was advance way too much. Anyhoot, I felt like i was going to had him his walking papers and then lost power at about 110mph. I got my car fixed but now he has a T3/t04e and i wan't to know my chances

judging by your set up you have a decent chance, i raced a "stage 2" srt-4 in my crx (turbo b16) and walked it no problem, but it was from a roll and those srt's have some serious torque, they had a dyno day at a local shop here a few days ago, stock motor srt-4 layed down like 370 hp/400tq on a t3/t4 thats a fast ------ neon....

 

i just raced a newer impreza i dont think it was a sti but i heard the bov he beat me by about 3 car lenghts in my 300zx

 

a regular wrx is **** *** poor slow as ----, and ---- sti's too, they're fast, but i'll ---- on 'em....

 

wrx = 15 flat lol

mid 14s with 7k tranny shatter launch

 

---- that id rather take a sti over a boosted civic anyday. even if the civic is running 50 psi.

 

why?

 

well of you got to 110 mph you were racing way to lon g, it must have been much longer than 1/4 mile so after that I don't know how cars work, and thats not vin desil quarter mile , thats pat musi/real street racing quarter mile. and srt4 's run in tthe 13s factory 1/4 mile whihc is about average for a turboed honda
