It is a pulsar gtir transmission, The regular sr20 from 240 would not fit in a fwd car, the intakes are different. So you say everything plugged right up in that car and started up? Anything custom you had to do other than the battery relocation? May consider picking up a SER sentra thats been sitting a good while, with a blown motor if that's all it takes. how much that swap cost your friend?

Just get the rearend from a GTIR pulsar but then you gotta get a new gastank and cut a tunnel for the driveshaft. Why would you want a GTIR tranny? It's totally useless unless your AWD otherwise you can't use anything from it, gears, synchro's, diff, case... I just dumped my tranny off at the junkyard's scrap aluminium pile. Just watch out for the old b13/nx trannies cause they have a notorious 5th gear popout and don't like too much abuse cause the case's are super duper weak.
