that blows. Yeah look to spend a good 300 bucks. You'll get a letter telling you exactly how much. I was told there was a law passed that did not make drivers eligible for traffic school if they were doing 15 over the speed limit. At least this is what the lady at the court told me. I had a ticket doing 50 in a 25 and she said I was ineligible for traffic school because of this law. I appealed to the judge and he granted me traffic school.

So you might wanna get that checked out. Oh yeah I'm cali status too.

if you are doin double the speed limit it is called wreckless driving, as bad as street racing, 2 points and you get a goto jail card.

really? cuz i got caught doing 104mph driving from my homeboy's house in lancaster to go see my family in sac town. they gave me 2 points and wreckless driving. i ended up paying $1000. no jail time though :D . oh yeah, that was only a couple of months ago.

I really need to do my traffic school, I got the ticket in april and got extentions til i think the 8th of this month, I really need to do the traffic school, or they might cancel my traffic school. Eh, I'll do a little more HMT surfing first

i pased a cop on the freeway on I-5 doing 100 he cought me doing 85. and it was only 205$ ticket. never took me to jail.

my guess is like 100 bucks

get a lawyer, pay the ticket fee/court cost/lawyer fee all to your lawyer, it will never see your record which equals no rise in insurance fee's, no points on your liscense and no stupid driving class.

I did this about 2 years ago, best extra $150 I have ever spent. ;)

Hmm..... 90 in a 50 and I got a $160 dollar ticket but they cop did mention that he used to have a CRX so I think he knew what was up. 8)

Ok....I got caught doing a 58+ in a 35, and I got the ticket in the mail, I believe it was like $278.50. On the ticket there was a number to call and they send you all the info on traffic school, you can like watch movies or take the class, and do it online. I did online took me like an hour at the most. Oh and traffic school was only like $23.00 and im from cali as well actually i live like 20 min from you.

i just took a online class. and took it off my record. they should give you an option like that when the bill comes in the mail.

i already sent it in to go to court. i'm gonna just pay the ticket and not get the points on my license, the judge gives that option or you can go to another court date when the cop shows up, then you're fucked.

ran a stop sign and doing 50ish or more in a 25 and only got a $5 ticket for not having my registration on me. ive gotten away light on every ticket i have ever gotten. i have gotten 3 speeding tickets where i was clocked at 20+ and only got written 5-9mph tickets. ive never have totally gotten off buy the differnce between the ticket i was suppose to get and the tickets i got are substantial.

oh you guys do know that the value of the ticket various from city/county to city/county. I got a speeding ticket in Cerritos and it was 300, my brother got one somewhere else and it was 2xx. Also i think there is a certain dollar amount that is added for every mile you go over, i forgot what that amount was.

yeah its $74 if i dont have my registration but its only $5 if i do. like a inconvience fee. i have to take my registration to the clerk of the courts and pay them $5. Florida thing i guess?

I got a 80 in a 65 not bad, but it was $130, and today i just got a certified letter saying that i have to take a 80 dollar, 8 hour long ------- defensive driving class because im under 19!! ---- the system

Damn, you guys get some expensive ass tickets. My speeding tickets are only like $120. I was going to take traffic school AGAIN, but they raised the prices to $150 instead of $95 so I'm just going to pay the ------- ticket and try to drive like a normal human being for the next few years. :-\ They don't do online traffic school out here. They make you sit in a class for 8 hours and listen to the same boring ass lecture from the same guy year after year. The guy that does it used to work at the elementary school I went to. He pulled me off some dildo I got into a fight with one time in like 3rd grade. I thought he was going to beat me the way he came running at me. :o

65 in a 30 plus a seatbelt violation which was complete bullshit about a year ago. I brought it to court and the judge cut it in half and dropped the seatbelt violation. Still to this day I wish I had gone down a side street to get away, it took the cop forever to catch me. I was stupid and slowed down to allow him to catch me!!! ???

you guys are all retarded i have said this so many times. Pull the fuse that controls the gauges and bring it to the dealer, make them fix it and get a reciept and maybe even a letter. I have a court date set up for an 89 in a 55 and i did this to my sisters acura. It's going to get dismissed!!! yes you heard right...dismissed. So before you do this. Tack on somemore speeding tickets and clear those while you're at it. Just do it in different areas so they don't catch on. I am hoping to get 4 speeding tickets cleared this way. Goodluck.
