You think that'd strain the seals in any unwanted way?

depends on how much pressure you set the regulator to. the only think i'd worry about is the reservoir on the master cylinder blowing off or cracking.

front brakes have around 250psi with a good pedal stomp and the rears are around 150psi. the only worry you would have would be messing up the reservoir. but you really only need about 20psi to bleed brakes. i have bled brakes with a big tank of fluid and an air compressor plenty of times. i have always done it backwards though. they make fittings that will connect with the bleeder. then you pump the fluid backwards. you can get an old cap and put a fitting in it with a hose and let that dump into another container.

Speed bleeders are bleeder screws with a built in check valve. Open the bleeder screw up 1/2 turn, pump breaks, fluid comes out and the valve doesn't let air in. You can do a corner in a min or so. www.speedbleeder.com I bought mine at the local parts store for cheaper, but same concept.

I use air to bleed brakes with this bad lil bitch...

Thats what i use at work to flush and bleed brake systems......works tits on cars with abs also.comes with an additional resevior u place on top of the master cylinder that keeps the brake fluid topped off so you get no air pockets. cost me about 160 i think.....but with all the brake flushes i did last month it paid for itself already.

using air to bleed brake = ftw! :6
