The problem with the olympics is that they use amature athletes. Its probly because they aren't gay millionares like all the pro athletes but they really just arn't as good. I'm gonna geuss that one of the major league all star teams could ---- up an olymipc team pretty good.

I agree with all the sports nonsense where guys complain because they didn't make enough, but I for the same reason others I would like to see Boston beat NY. The Yankees have such a high salary that it would be awesome to see Boston beat them. I'm sure Boston isn't much better as far as payroll goes but seeing NY get beat would be great.

Oh yeah, salary cap would be good. Nobody needs to make the kind of money A-Rod does for playing baseball. Hell I'd be happy to make 30k for playing baseball.

I know that these days teams won't let their players play in the olympics cause they don't want them hurt. I know this year I think it was texas that wouldn't even let one of their minor leauge pitchers pitch in the olympics and I don't even think he was even in AAA. Hell he might have even just been a prospect for the minor leagues. The reason all start teams don't do well in a lot of sports is that their very team oriented. Baseball is individual enough that I think it would work. Although you could send the sox and they would probley do just as well if not better. ;)

o, and about the pro sports arguement, ill watch college over pros anyday, but i feel for the hockey players. they are the most in shape athletes, and probably play the hardest, and tend to be some of the nicest people outside of the game. they are, by far, way underpaid compared to all other sports. u mean to tell me the raping kobe bryant should make more then say, half of the San Jose Sharks put together? all in all they make 2 much money... college is where its at.

I don't know if the sox win a world series then I think all the prime real estate in Boston will get burnt to the ground. If it comes down to them having a chance to win it I am driving to Boston just to be there and participate in all the crazy ---- that will go down.

John Force and the NHRA is the only sport worth watching these days. They drive around the country competing, and when you don't qualify, you take your ass home. When you qualify and lose in the first round, you take your ass home.
Its a whole lot of work during the week (getting to/from races) to get your ass handed to you in the first round and go home. I respect the NHRA

as i said before stealth, nascar and pretty much any racing for that matter, you dont hear people bitchin about how much money they make, blah blah blah. the biggest thing you hear them bitch about is the rules tryin to slow them down. (which i dont agree with)

---- baseball, basketball, hocky, soccer, whatever other sports... unless it doesnt have 4 wheels, im not watchin it.

My cousin and a couple of his friends actually beat the ---- out of some red sox fans for running their mouth at a game they lost anyway. My boy that goes to school up in Boston got a yankees hat taken off his head and set on fire right in front of him. This little war is kinda crazy....and yes if Boston actually wins i'm sure the whole town will actually be gone shortly after. Lets get real thats never going to actually happen and i'm sure everyone knows that already.... ;)
