south east HMT meet!! JUNE 19th
 

o.k. a couple of us were unofficially discussing a south eastern hmt meet, since there are a lot of members in fl, we were thinking central fl, would be a good place. i came up with a date for saturday, june 19. this way people who are in school, will be out and it gives other people who are further away (like me), plenty of time to save some extra money and plan some time off (or whatever the case may be). if you have any suggestions as to where to have it, let's hear them. i was thinking a day time thing (a park or something to cook out, see some honeys in bikini's, etc.), that could turn in to a night time cruise as well for the people wanting to hang out that long. for those of you that say you're too far, you have plenty of time to plan, it's about 8 hrs. for me and i'm all about it.

good ----, it doesn't really matter what date to me, i just need 2 weeks notice, but i'm down with the BBQ, maybe we could do it in Daytona Beach, cuz there's tons of hotties in bikini's, we could drvie on the beach, and just do a little cookout thing there. just a suggestion

----, count me in. Daytona is an easy drive from Tallahassee. June sounds good, it'll give me some time to finally install my intercooler and clean things up.

Daytona is ok with me too. It's about an hour drive, but I'm not complaining, and June 19 sounds good, I think we should just make it June 19, official date, and people can plan around it, It's summer, people are usually out of school, and it gives everyone the chance to plan, just like you said.

I'd be down for it, except for the 19 hour drive from PA. Hehe...by the time i got to SC i'd have a roid alright, just not my CRX. I might try and swing it though, a good excuse to ditch my woman for a week ;D

for all you ne people, i live in nc, so if you guys come down, you could stop and chill at my place and we could have a pre hmt meet hmt meet ;D i just bought a house with a big ass back yard, perfect for little bbq, then we could roll out together. i'm gonna have to bring my wife and baby, but we are dropping the baby off in jacsonville, fl at my moms.

oh yeah, it's gonna be off the hook as long as every body doesn't sell out :P some body down there needs to find a nice park to host the bbq during the day time. something with a nice big parking lot, near some water would be nice, the in ground grills that they have at parks would be nice too (or else some one local could get some grills together).

yeah, i've never driven on the beach in daytona. how is the sand? i'm not trying to get sand all up in my engine bay and ----, but if there are some people here who driven their lowered honda's on the beach and say it's straight, then so be it, that would be off the hook.

its 0probly pretty straight, people drive on it all the time, so its probly packed down pretty good

It's pretty compacted, they have traffic thru the sand everyday and we can park on the beach, that would be nice. I might have some pic from work of survey work we did in daytona showing the beach le tme see if I can get a decent shot.

hey can you make the meet like ft. lauderdale.. dude you have so much more there.. honney's, beach, great parks to have the cook out clubs and much, much more..

ft. lauderdal is tite as hell, but that's like an extra 3 or 4 hours just from daytona, keep in mind that a lot of us are traveling quite a bit just to get to daytona :P
