I work in the car audio industry.

I'm exposed to all kinds of systems on a daily basis.

I must say that the "Xplod" line of amps are disappointing at best.

Sony was producing some nice pieces not too long ago with the "Mobile ES" line.

Sony bought into the "more money in advertising....less money in product" attitude.

The result is an inferior product being sold to the masses who don't know any better.

A classic example of this is Audiobahn (only they never made a quality product).

I currently carry Sony in my shop, but its on its way out the door. What I have in stock I'm gonna sell but I will never order anymore Sony. They should stick to home theater and Playstations. Mobile ES was nice, but there are better products out there now. I'm going to replace Sony with JVC I think, they have some hot new products coming out, and the price points are similar. By the way, I am an area exclusive Excelon and Pioneer Premier dealer, so if you need anything hit me up. I'm also an exclusive dealer of MTX Thunder 9500 subs, which in my opinion are the best all-around subs on the market today. Hit me up if you want to know more about them. I have a 12 sitting here next to me and the thing weighs about 60 lbs!!

Believe it or, I've been rockin a plain ol Kenwood 1000 watt amp for about 2 years and this bitch won't DIE!! I beat the ---- out of it in an audio sense and its a damn tank!! I'm gonna eventually replace it with an MTX or Excelon amp, but until it dies, I'm sold on it. I have it flush-mounted in a faux wall on the side of my trunk so when I switch out amps, I have a lot of rebuilding to do, so I'm in no hurry.
