There are so many things wrong with that ad....

"Over sized waist gauge"

I wonder why he didn't post up any timeslips or dyno graphs?

Re: someone HAS to buy this

HAHAHA! Where's the proof that's a spoon motor? Where's the proof it's 725hp? Where's the proof of the supposed 9.2 second run? On 8psi? HAHAH BS! So I'm guessing since you have a 30psi kit and ran a 9s run on 8psi, you should be able to run a quarter in about 6s with the 30psi huh? Some of that (very little) might be more believable if you posted some dyno sheets, time slips, or video...but either way, I feel sorry for whoever buys it believing that crap. I should buy it then file a claim for it not being what it's advertised...a 2000 si with spoon motor that runs 9.2s on 8psi...

Re: someone HAS to buy this

id kick someone in the nuts for boosting in a true Spoon motor.

To spend $6000 on a motor thats built with stock internals is just plain retarded for boosting purposes. Spending $6000 on a motor for a circuit car which needs OEM parts is what that spoon motor is designed for...

You guys must get off on putting other people or other cars down!! I normally don't jump in on my son's business, but I have been monitoring the message traffic on our joint accout and just simply don't understand you people who have no clue whether or not the car can do what is listed. Just because your car cannot not perform to these specifications, you think NO car can. Let me tell you something sonny, I am the financier for this car: Mr. Brooke, who spent over $60,000 on modifications to this vehicle and I know it can perform to these specs. Not 9.2 at 8lbs, which is not clear enough, but at 30lbs, oh yeah, it'll run it and better. So, until you see the technology, which was tested and spec'd out at a military base in Nevada - where I am a propulsion engineer who desings USAF High Performance Fighter Jet Engines, don't put it down, just to make your piece of crap car look better. You want to test me, go ahead, I'll put this car up to anything you can get ahold of!!!

Hell, even funnier, is that you even admit to spending that much on a HONDA CIVIC. If that's true, which it isn't; there's no way in hell you have any intelligence. Your spelling isn't even correct and the ad is HORRIBLY typed. Who the hell uses a Spoon motor for boost? You know they're mainly built for all-motor applications, right? BTW, my car isn't crap. I have a quad-turbo Bugatti Veyron that was tested by rocket scientists on the Nürburgring race track. HAHAHA

And just so you'll know: The Turbo cost over $8,000 and has custom modifications only used in military propulsion systems.

I sent this back to him

you clearly stated 725hp on 8lbs in the add, no matter how much you paid for the turbo, you are a retard if you think you can make that kind of power on a "spoon" motor @ 8lbs, which by the way are built for N/A purposes. you are a cockrod, ok sorry, a hillbilly live in the deser mr. "i work on ailein space ship" cockrod. have a nice day :-)

wow, love the reply from him lol... haha 80000 on a honda civic that looks stock. tested in a air chamber, stock? if i had 80000 to spend on any car, it would be no mere honda civic. maybe some rwd or 4wd monster that has a aerodynamic purpose to stick to the tight 90+ degree turns it will see on the RACE track lol.

I talk to airplanes over radios and tell them where to drop bombs. ever see my grammer and typing skills? They blow. :S

So back to this motor:
pretty simple really. Ask him for reciepts. Ask him who he went through to get a spoon motor, precisly a B16A, ask him what he did to the tranny, when hondata started making a stage3 tuning program, Spoon motors dont last 60,000 miles, hell spoon didnt even build B16A's....well, they did but it was a case by case basis. This guy is a total fuckup.

Can anyone verify that its actually a spoon motor?

Seriously.. "the Motor is a spoon motor with a si valve cover to look like an si"

All that car is is a clean civic with a turbo kit, and some ricey guages.. 8psi and 250hp.. thats a damn tiny turbo to throw high hp numbers..

Look at his feedback.
