That's pretty much what I was referring to with the ej20t's...anything above '95 will be a jap motor only. I was under the impression he wanted a slightly newer one, and most of my suby experience is split between my 97 legacy gt and my finace's '04 wrx. Let me know the swappability on the older 91-94 ej20's into the 95+ chassis, because if that's the case I'd really love to turbo my gt and hopefully ditch the auto trans with it. I had given thought to turbo'ing the ej25 and see about having a machine shop fabricating some type of guard for the sleeves, but in the end decided it wasn't worth it right now...there has to be a better base to work off of. All in all though I have to say that the jdm suby versions are much nicer to look at than mine.

heh im a member on LGT forums, but they specialize mostly on the new LGT (05-present). thats the beast im planning to upgrade to by next year. 07 GT w/ AP STG2 FTW

The new legacys are sweet, I just drove a 07 Spec B today 6-speed FTW

Man, I always hate it when the revlimit doesn't work as advertised.

new car rev limiters are pretty homo these days

My favorite is pulling in a POS buick and holding it of the 4k "launch limiter"

Or on 2000ish subarus leave the bottom of the air box loose

The sube engines swaps are a PITA wiring. The harnesses are a nightmare. You may want to check out this site also.
