Here are some pics of my crx with my new bronze slips..aren't I original ;D. The pics are a little dark but ill try to take some better ones when its not so rainy outside.

Whoa nice car...
I'd ditch the clear corners though, I've never liked clear anything on my cars :-\ nice work. Lowering a bit sounds good as well. Throw in some window tint, you'll be set cosmetically. |

you dont like clear headlights? or winsheilds? do you run around with that blue tint on all your windows?

Your clear corners make me think you're a homo, but your sparkly, gleaming clean paint job makes me want to be your friend and forget you have clear corners. :) Nice car.

H&R sports are not going to drop that car enough.. its still going to have mad wheel gap with those 15's on there. I've had 3 set's of H&R race springs with the past 4 crx's I've had. Trust me, dont even waste your time putting the sports on, it might drop it 1in.

get some skunk2's.
coil-overs. these are set about 3/4 the way down. -the header scrapes sometimes. if you look on www.honda-tech.com under the autocross discussion, you will find at the top a stickey for "springs and ties for sale" go there and piece it all together. you can put together a awsome suspension for really cheap this way. you just have to figure out what spring rates you want. if you go to www.inlinefour.com and go to there coilover/spring page, it will tell you what the spring rates are for some kits like eibach and skunk... http://www.newbieforces.com/files/CR... the storm.jpg |

thanks for the info sccaeg...i was looking into coilovers a while back but didnt really like the cost of the decent kits. now i should be able to get some for a decent price :D

i agree that clear tailights are gay. and unsafe as hell. but clear signal markers dont bother me at all. i accualy dont even notice it

thanks for all the comments guys...it still amazes me that i got this car basically for free and it has 230,000. but it is still in almost perfect condition :). I'll post some pics of the interior tomorrow

Please get some springs, and not coilovers!! coilovers are gay unless you spend 1 thousand for some tein!!!
I would suggest also Neuspeed race springs! I put the neuspeed sports on my crx, and its lowered, but i want it some more!! :-\ IMO h&r, and neuspeed are about the same springs. |

its jsut the way they errode/ware over time, mine are lookin like that too. they get 'pitted' cuz there made of a rubber and the rest are plastic...

I agree that the clear corners are rice, but I think JDM one piece headlights-corners wouldn't look that bad on it.. anyone else? Some smoke tint would look good on it. Oh yeah, I like your exhaust too. ;) Oh yeah Random, don't worry about having that muffler burnerd, I'm sure it will fall off on it's own (by the looks of that ----). |
