I used to sell cars for a living. Had this happen quite a lot over 4 years.

Tell him to ---- off, he doesn't have a leg to stand on. Car was sold as is, he should be happy he made it 1 hr in a used Lumina without a complaint.

If he wanted a new car, he should have bought a new car...

talk about bizzaro world, same thing happened to me, i baught a car off a friend to sell, but in my case the idiot canceled the registration the day b4 i sold it without telling me, now the guy that paid me for it has got to pay for inspection and renuwal of registration, i still made money on it but not as much as i would have with the registration still intact
i was going to have the car transferd into my name but didnt want to pay for fees under my name, so ---- it

i wouldn't even offer him half of what was paid. Seriously its a $750 car....this ---- is expected. That's why you inspect something before buying it because, well....its "buyer beware".
You don't "normally" spend less than $1000 on any good condition car that runs great and has power everything with no problems

If the guy has had 2 others of the same car, then homeboy should be able to change his rubber brake line. Or he would know better than to buy ANOTHER one of these hoopties.

Good job selling it tho. You should buy alcohol and get wasted while ur nice enough to change his brake line (if you do...) HAHA
Cheap - Fast - Reliable....choose 1 LOL

If you give him ANY money back you are a fool. The guy that bought my prelude called me up a few hours after he bought it saying his friend says the tranny was trashed because 3rd grinds. I was like oh well sorry sold as is. WTF, if you drove the car you knew the bitch grinds 3rd, hell I was in it with you while you were grinding.

Ass that sold me my car didn't tell me that the throw out bearing is going out. Did I get mad? Nope my fault for not paying closer attention.

So this stupid ---- called me agin! now he is saying that the tranny slips and the motor is leaking oil :X I should have goten this asshats address so I could put a brick threw both of his lumnia windshields :8 I told him for the second time that the car sat over a year and some of the seals may have dried up. My bet is he is running the hell out of the car and not checking anything, ---- this guy.
