building a dohc zc at the moment...

I still rock the dohc zc built the motor (everything but sleeves) when i was in auto tech class at the local college, now it needs a bigger turbo (had a t-25 before motor was built up)...but because im in cali i can no longer drive the car (untill i find a smog hook up again )

90 crx with a DOHC ZC and zc lsd trans(i kno ------ rare, i almost shyt a brick when i found out)

custom headers,2 1/4 straight pipe, 89 teg ECU, and FPR.

I swear that was prolly the funnest car i drove. I was taking out b16 crx's and almost getting my *** beat cuz people swore i ran nitrous. Sold the motor when i couldn't find a distributor cuz it took a shyt on me and they were rare as ---- to find for dohc zc's.

I HAD ONE in the sedan boosted and that ---- was pretty sweet. It had more torque than the single cam. nice motor to boost.

zc's are as easy to find as a single cam overhere, mass imported in the 88-92 crx here...

i have a 89 crx si with a plain *** dohc zc with 4-1 headers and 2.5" exhaust with a pg7 ecu and si trans

zc swap was the hot ---- in so cal back in the 90's I was like the coolest kid in town with one. Than a 50 shot and you were a god. To bad most of them coming over these days are tired they are almost 20 years old now. Still a fun motor. I still have my zc transmission with si final drive I may use some day again
