both of my cousins david and matt went to the phoenix UTI, supposed to be a pretty decent program.

just make sure you get those ASE certs

I had a friend that went to UTI in CA. The guy had built plenty of motors, and knew his stuff. So he goes to the program, and gets a job at a Chevy dealership as a tech. He said he really didn't even "have to" take the course. (as Jeff Frank could probably tell you), and then they started ------- him on the work hours, giving all the good (worth hours wise) jobs to the senior guys, and giving him the bullshit.

Now he's a salesman at a different dealership. He's good with cars, but the guy has no personality and no communication skills, on top of now working next to Gustavo Chavez that just got to this country last week.

Anyway, that's the story of the only guy I know that went to the program. Use it how you wish.
