Restrictor pill is installed in the clutch line. to get out of it, you will need a ss clutch line. might want to check out www.evolutionm.net. nice color too....

Sweet ---- man! I'll look into that line then, sounds like it'd be a great idea to change it. If you can hook me up with some good sites for info on Evo's and everything related to 'em, I'd really appreciate it! ;D I know there's great power potential from these, I don't want to go absolutely nuts down the road, but an extra 100-150 extra whp wouldn't hurt. ;)

Even with the clutch restrictor removed, the stock clutches don't hold up to ----. I'm tellin ya man, just leave it stock, and go around alot of corners and enjoy the ---- out of it

My Honda with its little 180whp and cusco/spoon suspension has destroyed many evos in the twisties. I own an evo III also, and I will say that the handling in stock form isn't bad...but its not that great either.

That's because it's an evoIII... Comparing an evoIII and an evo VIII/IX handling is like comparing apples to hotsex herps :7

apples are very similar to hotsex herps in both size and color

I don't know why everyone is saying these cars have clutch issues. They are an AWD car. AWD cars naturally take more abuse on drivetrain parts even under normal driving conditions. If you bought the Evo for a DD, drive it like a DD. Don't drive the car like an imbred Nazi and dump the clutch at 5K and expect everything to be peachy. Hell, don't even bother launching period till you get a good aftermarket clutch. ACT Xtreme press. plate and street disk + 14lb chromoly flywheel for the ultimate launching orgy. Get a Tilton when you make over 500hp+

Which reminds me, the 4G63 platform can handle 450+hp on stock internals. It's been done numerous times in DSM's which share the same platform. The difference between a DSM and an Evo is the motor is flipped around.
