LOL...those pics are awesome. Nice work.
The carb to MPFI swap is a whole lot easier if you have a donor car, otherwise good luck getting the fuel lines and wiring, gas tank, etc. Don't get me wrong it's not easy just tedious.
I have a similar setup, an 87 hf converted over with a and at my weigh station it weighed in at 1910 lbs without me in it.
How did you fit the FMIC behind the bumper?
I tried my best to keep it hidden but when I was done cutting the grill it sagged too much so I had to cut it all out.
Got more pics?
FYI...I know a place where you can order a 255 lph walbro with fittings so it just bolts in.
I got a decent deal on it..LMK.
Where are you located?

Im in tifton ga. i have to give alot of props to www.redpepperracing.com . IMO The best website for 1g crx's.
As far as the carb to efi conversion it was pritty tough. The hardest part was the fuel system, the wireing was pritty straight foward. cut the connectors from the hf harness at the gauges and the rear by the a-piller and connect the colors. Theres quite a few wires that have the same color (uh it was a while ago, i think theres like 3 green wires and 2 blue) anyways just get a test light and turn on whatever you think it could be (whatever isnt currently working)
as for the fuel system, i used the oem fuel lines, but with a si pickup and fuel pump. The lines are hoseclamped, its not the best idea but hell, it works.
I didnt even cut the bumper to get it in. I just pulled the bumper and set it in place, put the bumper back on and if it hit the bumper, I took it of and repositioned it. than i used some self tapping screws to hold it in place.
oh and about that fuel pump LMK hook me up with the site, pm me or post it for everyone.
on the si's there close. 87 si is 1978 and the 88 si is 2017.
As for my car, i have no idea what it weighs. Its pritty gutted. I took out the heater, AC and all hardware, carpet, spare tire, pritty much everything but plastic. Im hopeing to be about 2000lbs with me in it.
Thanks everyone for positive replys HMT is awesome
+1, how tough was the mpfi swap on that beast?

actually i got relaly lucky. when i was like 15 we got these two cars in trade for some work my dad did to a motorcycle. the guy coudlnt afford the bill so he gave us these two cars. a blue 86 crx hf and a red 87 crx dx. anyways they sat till i was about 16 and i started build them up i put motorcycle carburators on he dx, it blew up, and than i started building the hf.
i got pritty lucky, and im about to go get a 86 civic dx. i might even go pick up a 87 si.
