Is that a DSM T25? Bet that ---- blows off with an idle rev

Re: Skinny E Turbo Almost done 56k eat a cookie

ok we are working on the IC problem with it getting hot
we have 3 options
1) hood scoop
2) cut a hole in the headlight where the brights are and run a PVC pipe with a scoop underneath the IC
3) a fan
its more an likely going to be a fan, probably a couple computer fans.

Fuel is Uberdata and some DSM injectors (I don't know what size have to wait until Skinny E replies)
and yes the turbo is t25 off a DSM. like i said in my first post it spools quickly

most of the technical stuff your going to have to wait for Skinny E to reply. I don't know which parts are from what car or what he used, I just helped install it (since no one else would)

About time he got that done. Why did he decide to mount the intercooler in the engine bay ??? I'm not big on Hondas, but is it hard to do that with the F22?

why didnt you mount the smic in the pass side fender and behind the bumper etc, RENR stylez... i bet it would work great like that

The setup is as follows
dsm manifold
dsm 450's
saab intercooler
1g bov
2'' and 2.5'' mandrel
t25 I know its too small but I needed something good for cheap
2.25'' exhuast from turbo back
stealthmode oil lines
gauges autometer and a ricer flashy light for sunpro
uberdata
p06

I put the intercooler there because it looked like it could be done so I did it, I bought a fan today for it as well,

the hyundai is my pizza delivery car/winter beater, I don't know if I should mod it or not, I've already elimated powersteering on accident. The pump seized, got rid of ac, cone filter cause I had an extra one, and I may do exhaust. I'm waiting for a turbo model to come into the junkyard so I can swap engines. If I can ever find one.

Oh yeah I beleive the car won't rev past 3500rpm cause the map sensor is either bad or can't take boost, so I'm going to the junkyard tomarrow to take as many as can fit in my pockets. ;D

Good to see someone found a use for my old parts. :)
For the IC heres what I'd do; make an air duct from the bumper up to the IC. You could cut a hole in the bumper and run big hose from there right up to where the intake resinator came through the metal into the engine bay. Then I'd make an IC sprayer and THEN raise the back of you hood w/a few washers/longer bolts to allow the air to escape.

Oh, when you go to the track, bring plenty of ice/ice water so in between runs you can cool that puppy down.

Yeah if you don't already have the Uberdata running in there then it'll go into limp mode (I think). I think it also does the same thing if you go above 10psi on a stock MAP...somebody who knows for sure should chime in here.
