+1, and you can get the 32 rd magazine, thats lead lobbing capacity if i've ever heard it. Im still looking for a g17 for the right price because of its capacity.

you can find them for pretty cheap as long as you can actually find one. think i paid 390 for mine used, i thought it was too much but oh well. was the only one could find around town.
i need to find a smaller carry gun because my glock 22 is kinda bulky at times and the POS only holds 10rnds . want either the glock 19 or 26, depending on what i find cheaper.

thanks for the opinions guys. and how did i know scott would be first to post, lol!

but yes i want a 9 potential clip capacity. so i know how you feel jeff, the kimber only holds 8 Also i'm gonna be closed minded to revolvers, don't want one.... yet. although a 357 is ever so deadly. imo packed more punch than a 45.

dammit steve, live in socal again so i could shoot that gun. looks like a nice piece.

i did like shooting the glock, might try that again. thanks for the link scott, read one of the 9mm threads. forgot about the xd9, gonna have to give that a whirl again. so now I gotta ponder between a sig, glock, xd9, maybe see if they have stevo's gun, and the CZ. damn as much money as i spent at the range i could bought a damn gun.

and i'll make sure to keep away from that tarus, lol. cheap don't matter, i need reliablity and accuracy. it's worth destroying a quality $$$ gun cause you got your target, rather than a cheapo cause you missed your target and got something else.

p.s. i'm gonna have to hit you up for clips scotty

You live in California or something?

My glock22c mags are 15 rounds.

To the OP:
With newer ammunition designs, 9mm .40 S&W and .45 acp... all have pretty decent stopping power.

You should chose the largest bore that you're comfortable shooting, and can hit the target *EVERY TIME*. Don't buy a gun that's huge, or that everyone says is nice, cause it might not be nice for you.

Your best bet would be to goto the range and rent a few guns.. and figure out which one you like the most.

That said, glocks are the ak47 of the handgun world.

I don't need to live in so cal. Julio and notsoturbo shot it when they came out here. Oh, and scotty lives in the same shitty state as you, so he looks to Minnesota for his clips.

G22, +2 floor plate, 17+1

Ruger P91

I prefer a 40 S&W in a mid to full size, but would only go to 9x19mm in a compact CCW carry.

I'm waiting on a 6 shot .327 S&W to come out with a no snag hammer.

mine, G17
17rds x 3
32rds x 4

if you get a g17 i would strongly suggest it be a 'c' model denoting compensated and get the trijicon night sights.
