Silkroad Online?

Re: Silkroad Online?
Yeah but I hate dealing with internet fuckwads on a regular basis, let alone doing a ------- dungeon for 8 hours with a group of 40 of them, all shouting on Ventrillo or Teamspeak or whatever they use these days.

I honestly dont see how the ---- people play rpg's so much. Dont get me wrong. When I was a kid I use to be GM in "RIFTS" "Shadowrun" "Robotech" and loved that ----. I guess it just doesent have the same feel to it when I was young.
I personally like anything "realistic" or heavy on graphics or gameplay.
007 Goldeneye N64
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. PC
SOCOM SERIES PS2

Re: Silkroad Online?
wow im gunna sound stupid saying this but the other day i was sick and had to stay home from work so i went to hastings and picked up a game. lol i almost dont want to say what it is though. star wars knights of the old republic. so i stayed up all night playing it and its actually a pretty good game. i havent been into a rpg since ff7 but this one has me hooked and im not even online with it. i put 7~8 hours into before i felt so retarted i made my self stop. trying to limit it to 2 hours a day but working night shift sucks and when you gotta stay up all night and there is nothin to do i just cant help it.

I joined a guild for a while and was pretty dissappointed with none of the guild members ever being online. I mostly hang out in Samarkand and follow other people around and fight with them until a party request comes through.

Is there any pvp element to Silkroad? That's the one thing I loved about WoW. There was nother better than sending a pet out to own some guy and chase him down with a musket. Makes me miss my pvp hunter now that I think about it.
