so some kid wanted to race me with his super sweet v8 the other day.....we pull up and this dude is talkin all kinds of crap about how i have a 4 cylinder civic and theres no way i can beat his big v8 5.0 or 4.6 or some bullshit....all i said to the kid was "your right theres no way i can win but ill race you anyway" i knew his car wasnt fast it was bone ass stock.....so anyway i raced him and had him buy 2 1/2 3 cars right off the line.....it was sillly and then he pulled over and was like "oh ---- you gotta have a bunch of work done to this" i just laughed cause my car has a stock motor in it....93 si b18b1.(ghetto intake+exhaust)....i just thought i would share

Re: shut down a 99 mustang gt yesterday pretty nasty

liar

93 si civic doesn't come with a b18b1 stock

and your civic with a stock b18b (140 crank hp) about 100 at the wheels can't run a sub 15 second 1/4

im a honda owner and i agree with johnny.

he said he had a stock ls in the civic, i dont think he was implying it came stock in the car from the factory. and seeing as you pulled him 3 cars out of the hole, the kid obviously couldn't drive his pile of ----.

the 99gt has 260 hp and 300 torque. your car has 140hp and 130 torque. Yes your car is lighter but dont be stupid, and lie about winning the race unless the driver of the mustang didn't know how to drive like an uncaring street racer like you.

99 GT's are crawling...But still go mid 14s stock. So either he's full of ---- or the GT's driver was just a tard.

He's a liar. I used to have a V6 mustang (1998) and I could dust most stock honda's all day long. There is no way in HELL!that you beat a V8 mustang of any year with a stock LS.

i think the cops saw them street racing and fired on of those electric equipment-shorting claws at it like in fast and the furious...then the mustang shut down and he won while the mustang guy is sitting there hitting his steering wheel going "damn"

While his boyfreind comforts him for losing to a stock civic with a ricer in it

probably a 5.0 thunderbird. haha the fox body stang 5.0s had nice power to weight ratios. the 94-95 stang 5.0s were heavy. i've personally seen those get owned by b16 civics and crxs

uhh a b16 in an ef hatch or crx which i believe Steve had will tear up most any stock/lightly moded 5.0 foxbody, notchback, whatever. sorry but those cars are lucky to even break into the 14's. most are 15.0 riders.

what would happen if mycrx and vin diesel raced though? would the world end?

Im pretty sure Chuck Norris would come out of nowhere and roundhouse kick the floorboards right off their cars

Re: shut down a 99 mustang gt yesterday pretty nasty

I see this.

mustang has shitty driver and had a shitty launch.
I beleive the civic would of pulled away from the mustang with 1 and 2 with a ls
Iv seen it somany times at the track that with a good launch a low power civic will take em for 1 and 2 but gets past in 3 and doesnt get into 4th.

he said the guy pulled over, that would be befor the stang would of started to pull away. and I also belive the ls civic would pull the v6 stang anyways

you agree cool
you dont ---- you

you want to say ---- you canadian?
I say ---- you yankee

oh snapz, the kill story isn't getting the usual response I was expecting.......................

which is big deal you beat a mid to high 14 second car and if it was a 94-95 5.0 make it a mid to high 15 second car

96-98 GTs ran blistering 16's with good drivers. Early mod motors sucked a bit more than recent ones... which is pretty hard compared to the SBFs, but they're at least doing okay in the stock for stock comparisons now.

I can beat a honda out of the hole then I lose. I hit about 80 or 90 and have to let out. The front end sways a little too much for racing on the highway.

typ-r's arnt that fast. its like someone driving you around in a limo with a 460ci in it you set so close to the windshield you get an illusion of speed.
