I have mentioned a few times, i have colleceted most of my tools from swap meets and hand me down ----, and I have even come across decent sets of tools at garage sales. Like I said, I dont really have much tools, but I have what I need to get things done at home. sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, that kind of thing. 99% craftsman 1% snap-on.
I picked this box up at the scratch and dent sale at sears, ball bearing, heavy duty casters, it locks, with a nice key, has the latching type drawers, pretty nice for $200, what was wrong with it, the key was missing, which they replaced for free. $460 box, I paid $200 for it. Its full now, with tools, but im gonna fill it up some more, hopefully shortly. -before i go to japan. :P
I also have another set as my "junkyard kit" its one of those carry case kits, 120 piece or someshit, i have a few cheap screw drivers and a pair of pliers, its perfect for when i go to the junkyards.

You probably wont find any tools. You can find air compressors, tool boxes, and other miscellaneous shop equipment for cheap.

This is the box I have at work, yea, it's no snap-on or mac, but it gets the job done. I have a couple of other Craftsman boxes, one at home and my another one at work that my biz partner uses. It's a smaller one, but has a side locker on it. Anyway, that is my box and part of my bench :P

Yes, I know I'm bringing back a year old post.
How is the Costco box holding up after a year of daily use?
It sells for $650

Our journymen tech bought that as a entry level box. I think he paid 750 bucks!! really good deal, its all ball bearing (includes top and bottom) I'd definatly sport one of those at home.

my little $60 jobby. gets the job done for the time being. seeing as i have like no tools right now. but a 52% discount from matco and i think 50% from snap-on will do me right in the next 1 1/2 years. and Mr. HomeMadeTurbo, that ---- is sick!!
