show me a better deal!! (could you find a better deal???)
im workin on my dohc zc build and i found this package im thinking of getting....but what do you guys think about the parts/price....and do you know of any better deals? http://www.honda-performance.com/valve-train.asp

Are you talking about that "head package"
if so, they dont list "dohc zc"
I dont know anybody who makes all that stuff for ZC's (especially all the valve train stuff)
and nobody makes block guards for d16a1/ZC's
The normal "D16" block guard does not fit correctly at all.

ehhh. I'm not so certain about that. I've never seen any of that stuff for sale for just the dohc ZC.
The valves, springs, retainers are all different from other "d16" stuff, so I hope they are not confused.

I've seen them around on ebay for years, they always sell valvetrain components and engine internals. I've never heard anything good about them, but I haven't heard much about them at all.
However, I do vaguely recall someone saying that they were ----.
No experience or knowledge of/with them + no claims saying they are good + 1 person saying they are ---- = don't be a guinea pig.

I did a search on HT with some mixed reviews.. not to bad I guess. But nobody mentioning anything about the ZC stuff. You may want to call them back up and ensure all this stuff is for the twin cam zc, and that its not the same as ls valve train or other D stuff. But they probably already know that

that is hella deals. i have a crower "head set" minus the block guard and i think that ---- was like $900 brand new.
oh, and it says their good for 11K rpms.. which they probably are. but your bottom end stock can't. also, im pretty sure all motors top out on power somewhere in the RPM's based on the cams. i remember my old d15b2, ---- was gutless beyond 6k. but my gsr loves to go over 8.5k
