If you use the stock the fuel pump with your fi setup, how has it worked out for you, and what psi are you at.
The walboro 255's are so cheap that its tempting to pick one up. To me that seems like a lot of pressure for a 8 psi car making around 200 whp. The stock fuel pressure regulator can't even fucnction properly under those conditons at idle can it?
What does the stock fuel pump in the 91 CRX Si run at? Correct me if I am wrong but as long as there is not a need for more pressure in the lines due to the engine side of things, fuel pumps usually either work at full efficiency or they don't work at all correct?

Re:Show of hands how many of you use the stock fuel pump.
I wanted an answer to this same question.
I am running a stock pump on a 13psi d16a1/zc. Although, I just burnt out my stock pump that is about 2 years old.
I would opt for the larger pump myself, but I have an out of tank pump that would be a bitch to replace.
BTW I just got back from driving my car pushing 18psi....It's really fast.

Heh, even with all the recemmendation of upgrading your pump for FI, I am still running the stock pump on my B18b pushing 10 psi with the help of Uberdata. All is fine so far and I don't suspect there to be any problems in the future.
