Short shifter. There's nothing wrong with them if (1) it's a quality piece (2) installed correctly. The problem with grinding gears, vibration and difficulty getting into gear is caused from the loss in weight. Get a weighted shift ****, problem solved.

I like my egay short shifter, it feels normal to me now.
What I find more important however, is replacing the shitty 10-15 year old rubber shift bushings with urathane bits.
Seriously, the Energy kit is like, 10 bucks from any speed shop and it's the best 10 bucks I've ever spent.
