my docs are over 10 years old and I have had two new pair for at least 4 years that I've never used. I was thinking to myself the other day that these damn boots are actually pretty good. I'm got years of oil/gas/crap stains on the boots, but they last forever. Well The straps on the back have dry rotted and the soles have been gone for years, but they are still water proof. I would recommend docs any day.
