We have governments and in particular economic controls in those governments for just these reasons... regulation with freedom. Everything is based on rules. Athletic competition, traffic laws, etc. The universe follows laws of physics. It's just how stuff works.

im not saying it is or isnt a good thing, well i am, but its a long explination,

BUt i am saying that the gov isnt suposed to do it.

The economy will work its self out. Dose that mean that we might not be able to live as good as we have been for a few years, yup.. Will the economy drop a bit... Yup... but that life,

And just to put this out there

If the governmetn would devide the amount of money required to bail out the "failed banks" evenly amongst all citizens over 18, that we all would get 450k aproximatly. 1/2 of which the gov would get back in taxes.. so now everyone can catch up on their loans, and stimulate the economy.

My major point is giving a company that just mismanaged billions of dollars, more money wont fix the problem.... The above is just food for thought..

Ok dude you lost when you mentioned hitlers society was perfect other then himself. I ------- owned your small minded insight as to how socialism is the key. Shut the ---- up unless you can draw further speculation on what is imperfect about free enterprise other then the recent de-regulation that a few politicians have taken upon them selfs then you have no reason to be in this thread.

It's not very hard to get the rules changed if you've got the cash flow.

In reading Leon Levy's Psychology of Wall street, he mentions several times where his firm, which wasn't exactly a large player, lobbied successfully to change laws that favored his investment firm. Allowed to break regulation, sell short, create hedge funds, create mutual funds, create the ability for hedge funds to sell stocks short and so forth.

The sort of "capitalistic" practice everyone in here criticises is not capitalism, it is looting. You can loot in socialist governments, too, most of the extreme left wing ones fell into chaos and were really ------- fucked up within a decade or so of inception, if they were ever worth a ---- in the first place.

You are basing this statement off a chain e-mail that was started by someone who can't do math. Apparently you either got the letter and also can't do math or you are just quoting something you saw on another forum. If you split 85 billion from the AIG bailout between the approx 200 milion 18+ U.S. citizens you won't get the $425,000 that the letter says (or $297,500 after taxes that it also points out), you would get $425. Go back to 2nd grade. Now if you are talking about the 700 billion plan then every person would get $3500 before taxes. Learn to do math before you try to talk politics/economics with the adults.
