Even then, people desperate enough to steal cars are smoking something other than cannabis.

I've never promoted/condoned coke/meth/heroine use. I'm 99.99999% sure they weren't stealing cars for marijuana.

That is a very valid point though, it's different when you're buying with legitimately earned money.

lol there's about that many people in pierce county (where the article is written) and they had 7000 car thefts in '07.

I think people steal for the same reason here (drugs) but it seems to be any POS they can steal and not directed at Hondas...
