thats an older firebird and yes it is slow. But if you really want to race a fast one let me know

the LT1 is a fine motor. Like most factory V8 engine the heads are a huge bottleneck

these stock times are comparable to a 14b ~10-12psi stock honda d series motor in a crx.

yes it is a T/A he has a firebird nose and lid on it T/A tails someone backed into the nose of it and he already had a firebird front

lt1 is a gay engine, stop trying to defend it johhny, 5.7l of pure crap. the LS1 is a good engine, but the LT1 is crap. Im sure it can be modded to be fast, it is 5.7 liters, but how often do you see a domestic that is modded right? hardly ever

you're a moron

its not a gay engine. it is a great engine it power'd all the F-bodies and Vettes of the day. it is just overshadow'd by the LS series engines.

For 1992, the L98 was dumped in favor of the new next-generation small-block V8, the LT1 (no hyphen, unlike the '70 version with the similar name). The LT1 was rated at 300 horsepower thanks to significant revisions to the cylinder heads, accessory drives, cooling system and fuel injection. But despite that healthy increase in output, it was also an even more engaging driving companion than the L98. Along with the LT1 came traction control (Acceleration Slip Regulation — ASR — in GMspeak) whose best feature was that it could be turned off.
1992 Chevrolet Corvette - It is the first year of the return of the LT1 small block in the Corvette body. Factory rated 300 horsepower. This car is a 6 speed model coupe, there were only 5487 placed in the corvettes, that includes coupes and convertibles, basically only about 25% of the Corvettes were 6 speed equipped. It is also optioned out with driver and passengers power sport black leather seats, a tinted glass roof, Delco/Bose AM/FM Cass/CD premium sound system. Electronic climate control heating/air conditioning. Heated mirror.
