ive given this situation some serious thought...
aside from the fact that this kid is a known scammer and anyone with half a brain can search the kids name..
im pretty sure the shop is milking this situation for all its worth..
id like to see the breakdown of that 16k bill..
according to the shop the kid brought in most of the parts
and who the ---- thinks its ok to dump 16k into a customer car without taking any sort of downpayment..
the only victim here is the kids mom.. which also strikes me as weird because the kid brought in a car that didn't belong to him to get it customized..
16k of work over 4 months and this guy actually thought the owner was gonna come in and plop 16k on the table?
what everyone should be doing is flaming that ricerific piece of ---- and stop calling the shop owner a ------- artist (maybe a artsy ***)
that threads got thousands of views and the only people laughing are the owners of the forum and the shop owner...
in all honesty i hope the shop owner looses the car to joes mom..
on the flip side i hope joe dono trips and falls face down onto his ------- nose sending his bone straight into his brain where doctors rush to operate and remove half his brain (his other half.. he only had one half to begin with) and he lives a long ------- life as a vegetable..

Regardless of what mistakes the guy made that did the work...
He still did work.
Douche still owes him money.

It's sad when you say someone is at fault for trusting someone else to do what's right.
I don't know about you guys, but I don't do a buk search on everyone I buy from.

its amazing the amount of publicity this is getting... it's being talked about on the radio right now by what sounds like is one of the areas biggest morning radio talk show hosts. And, there are literally people from all over the world posting on that board right now. Everyone should get over there, bash the scammer a bit and rep HMT
