honda all the way. reason why? parts availability.

Re:rx7 vs crx
if the rx7 is a turbo get it, crx = slow pos unless you put tons of money into them
|
Re:rx7 vs crx
rx-7 all the way, especially if its turbo. how many miles are on it though? or atleast on the engine? if its over 45,000 it aint gonna last much longer, but it would still be fun. i love rx-7's, my dad got me into them because hes a senior mazda techician he has owned 2 and driven many. i want to buy a third gen ;D

Re:rx7 vs crx
ya ya the rx7 would be fast then the crx. But crx parts, both aftermarket and oem are cheaper then the rx7. And since you are soo excited about an 800 rx7 id say you dont have gobs of money to fix an aging car that uses a rotary engine.
but it really does depend on many things, like money, shape of both cars, milage and personal taste. |
Re:rx7 vs crx
Depends on how the cars are gonna be driven...Crx can't be beat for a Daily driver drop a B18C in and it'll be reliable as all hell (done right). and still get 28-35 mpg.
RX7 is a helluva road race/drag car with the right mods but is gonna cost you about $40 a day to drive it if you start modding it. I'd take both drive the CRX everyday and drive the RX7 on the weekends with the exhaust removed. |
Re:rx7 vs crx
rotary engines dont last past 45,000miles ???
|
Re:rx7 vs crx
rotary engines suck ass, i drove an rx7 with 80,000k and it was burning oil so bad, and one of the rotors was not even working, bad apex seal, i also drove a 90 integra with a b18 over 400,000k and it was fine........what does that tell you.
