rusty D16a6 block, is it still worth it?
Okay guys i found a complete D16a6 block BUT the only thing is, is that its all rusty and ---- for sitting so long at the junkyard, probably a good 2 years... on the top of the pistons its either rust or corrosion (sp?) but the thing i wanna ask is if its worth my $50? like is it still rebuildable?
i have air tools so i could die-grind the rust or whatever it is off the block.. and the bit i have is a rubber disk that won't harm metals at all.
btw: its a complete block with the pistons, rods, crankshaft, oil pump, water pump, sensors, oil pan..

Sure, if you resleeve it it is worth $0.10 as long as the insides are fine.
