Haha, mine does that too and it pisses me off. It really makes it hard to weld anything when it's doing that ----.

---- ya it does, the bead dissapears on me sometimes between the arcs that are caused by the pulses.

I got a kill on a mustang that had 4 extra tail lights (I think they tried to do the corvette thing on it on the rear bumper) and 4 people in the car, I wasn't sure if he was racing, but when he kept up with me to 40 in a 35 and I was accelerating quickly I knew it was time to show him vtec, but then he kept going once vtec was shown and I was waiting to shift into 5th without grinding and he passed me, what an ***.

haha, you like the new rice can I assume Yeah welding aluminum is a little more tricky. The heat setting, wire speed, and also the movement of the person doing the welding is all very important to get right when welding aluminum. It does flow easier because it's got a much lower melting temp (which also means easy burn throughs ), so you gotta keep the heat down and move a bit faster.
I've only welded aluminum a few times but once you get the hang of it, it's like anything else... cake

If you ever try aluminum you'll understand. just an example, if the angle isn't prefect, it'll start birdsnesting and won't weld

i believe its your guys' tension adjustment on the wire spool, probably needs to be looser. mine didnt even come with one so i had to use a crappy wingnut and it keeps binding. it does the skipping and pulses when it gets tight. when i loosen it, or when i make my friend hold the spool outside, it burns consistently if youre doing it right. i would also make sure youre connected directly to the wall or a cord longer than 25ft.
im using a lincoln 100 wirefeed mig. oh ya maybe try tightening the clamping wheel as well as loosening the spool. you want a good feed..
