Default RS*R Exmag

I wanted to get the RS*R Exmag exhaust because I liked the look of the jet black canister and polished tip, and the fact that it's quiet. The only problem is now I found out that they aren't black coated anymore, they are all stainless steel. Would it be possible to just spray the piping and muffler with a high heat black coating, or is there some reason why I can't do that? Also, since it comes with 60mm(2.36") piping, would I be able to take it to an exhaust shop and have them switch it to say 2.5" piping when I finally boost the car? If so, any idea how much that would cost me? Would this make a difference in sound at all, or would it make it louder? Please help.

dont be a ricer noob and paint ---- to make your car look cool ...spend about 1500 and make a turbo kit and run a open down pipe with a resonator..thats it...enough said

when you boost, any old exhaust with a good sized resonator and a muffler is gonna sound good, don't waste your money

and yes, you can paint it. and yes, you can have a shop upgrade the piping size, but it most likely wont be mandrel bent, and the inlet on the muffler and resonator will still be small, so its pointless

well thanks to **** for actually saying something relevant to my question...you read the other post and tell me where it says ANYTHING about painting the exhaust, and it was a different question about the piping, not going to a shop and getting new pipes welded, so you should read more carefully next time...

If I go ahead and buy the 3" one now would it be ok until I got around to boosting? Or would it be ok if I got the 2.5" one and then boosted with that one on, would it make that much of a difference? Please help.

then do what **** said
