JHill,

Nice website! I like those Throttle bodies. If I wasn't doing a turbo, I'd buy one

Have you considered doing a turbokit on your b16?

I'm pretty sure that boost is an addictive thing. Let him have a ride, or let him drive it and he will change his mind

Street dyno is another good one. The theory behind them is very sound. The only other thing besides propper car data, that you need to worry about is the flatness of the road.

That is the run I did with street dyno when I first got the turbo on. I started letting off the gas at ~5000 rpm cause I was running out of road. Run was in 3rd with old plugs/wires, crappy coil packs, and running really rich.

Thanks, nice to hear. I would consider a turbo if I were not road racing. The car is going to race in Honda Challenge series. But I did mention to Jeff the other day that if I don't race next yearr, Turbo would be nice. I have ridden in quite a few extremely fast Porsche Turbo track cars, in excess of 150-160mph, and am quite addicted to the pull that they have. I would love to show up with a CRX and go faster.

Oh btw, the throttle bodies have worked well on forced induction too, as it reduces the pressure drop across the actual throttle body in the intake system. We made 14 hp on the dyno with a supercharged S2000 at 6psi. The more boost, the more potential. I have seen 30hp increase with the throttle body on a 9psi turbo S2000, but they added an exhaust at the same time.

Awesome. I might just have to get one then. I will have turbo, highflow cat, and catback exhaust. I can always use a couple extra horses.

that motorcycle dyno looks awesome, I didn't read all of it, infact I didn't read more than one sentence, but I figure since he spent about $2200 on it someone could probably build a car one for around $3000. what do the regular dynos run for?
