took the crx for a drive to make sure the A/F's were good on low boost/pump gas, first 4th gear pull A/F's were mid 12's. I didnt get a chance to look at the boost gage so i turn around and do another pull car dies at 8K ish :-\ heres the carnage :X

Pretty shitty motor was ------- mint didnt smoke a drop and pulled hard on the race gas 22psi. Only goal for the car is to get a clean pass down the track and i keep having BS problems :-\

The retainer was cracked down the middle, and the keepers were MIA. Valve-drop buffet; all you can eat.

Id rather be a ----- and just crack a ringland or even crack a sleeve, when u have to buy a vtec head its not fun breaking ---- :'(

8400 didnt hit the limiter and GSR's have dual springs on the intake

Looks like that valve bounced around in there till it finally went through the piston, I don't know why but I like seeing the different ways an engine takes a dump. :o

On race gas it hits 24psi then falls back down too 22 :6

#4 sleeve is pretty fucked up not cracked but just fucked

Could could still make some change selling that head. Hell slap some JB on it and smooth it out FTW. Hell I'd try it out. Sucks though it had to be a vtec head and not a LS.

yeah b16's and LS's are pretty cheap. Ive rounded up a LS motor today with a few phone calls for free so its going to be a str8 LS untill i can get a b16 head.

Yeah, for the automatic longblock versions through someplace like H-Motors...come out to my area and NJ and you're looking at $1000+ for a longblock :P
