Re: is this rice?
hahah... no... not mine. It's one of our reader's cars, we featured it in our 'Readers Rides' section in our magazine (www.speednsound.co.za). Just got a whole lot of emails from other readers moaning that we featured it.... but I think we just put it in to be 'controversial'.
Edit: It's South African

Cheap & Fast = Not reliable.
Fast & Reliable = Not cheap.
Cheap & Reliable = Not fast.
BAD TRADER : shortkj (owes me 1500 / 4x DSM 450's)
this is not true.
my car is cheap, i have about $2500 into the entire car, including the car with a turbo kit which i put together, and i would consider it fast on the street for what it is, and i trust it to take me anywhere.
among the rice....if it doesnt have a purpose, its rice. everyone has there own definition of rice. I have been called rice, to me my car is as far from rice as it comes, everything on the car is functional.
but the peorson that called me a ricer, was as riced out as they come IMO. unpainted body kit, wing, big wheels, dual exhaust...that to me is rice. to that "ricer", he thinks he has an extremly aero dynamic car.
to each his own.

About the comment on my sig.: I totally agree with my statement, the thing is, it depends on what your definition of 'cheap' is... cos someone earning 10k/m versus someone earning 2k/m will definitely have different opinions. Btw, whats the ave. salary in the states?
About the rice thing: That's what I hate, everyone has their own opinion, they should list it in the Oxford dictionary so no-one's confused in the future. Where can I see a pic of your car jr?
this is mine:

i have a few better pictures, but you get the point...check my sig.
as for interior, its 100% stock with the exception of a short shifter, and a boost gauge.
my car is 100% ghetto and its getting real old real quick. my next project will be done 100% correct and 100% neat.

Re: is this rice?
wow I wasn't expecting something like that from South Africa
:P no offense, I just really didn't Car looks real good man. When your car has a nice glossy paint job, the 'euro' clear corners and all that really come together quite nicely. I'm loving your choice of color, looks fantastic! And a four door... sweet.
