Re:revving out an a6
IMHO I wouldnt rev the slut over 6800ish. It just doesnt make power. Turbo or NA.
Just think of the god awful stroke of the a6 making out with those pencil thin rods. My boosted A6 is set to a 6700 rev-limit. Im a caring Disposable-D owner. :-* |
Re:revving out an a6
non turbo I used to bring my a6 to redline like every other day. They can take the abuse... I just don't know about boost ???

Re:revving out an a6
On a side note, I used to rev my original boosted A6 to 7k on a pretty regular basis. That engine lasted 2yrs on 7psi. On more than one occasion I ran 5th all the way to fuel cut on the freeway....ahhh good memories.

Re:revving out an a6
your going to kill all your lowend power with the stage 2 cam. its like having vtech on all the time. you dont want it to soon.
