I'm planning on working in Aspen again this summer (I'm from Buffalo). Last summer I had to be there by may 10th, just a few days after school ended, but I already have the training now so I don't have to be there until a few weeks later. So I'm going to ride my bicycle to Aspen. O0 I shouldn't take more than about 15 days to do, maybe a couple more, and I will have gangster status. Its around 1700 miles I believe, and my current roommate wants to join me on the journey. That concludes my random post for the day.

lol like a pedal bike? holy ---- im 6 foot 175 and im in decent shape and i get winded after a couple miles. you must cardio train alot.

You realize with the elevation difference from buffalo to Colorado, you'll be going uphill most of the way.

Im a fat kid so i ride motor bikes but i have friends who go on retardedly long road trips. They spend more on their peddle bikes than i do on my motorcycle.

Well I did a lot of cardio last summer in aspen, bunch of 12-16 mile runs because I was sort of training for a marathon, but I fucked up my ankle at the end of august and its still hurting pretty good, so I haven't been running as much. Will be ready to cross the country by spring though, and will be looking for HMT houses to sleep in and sisters to sleep with O0

over 100 miles a day? youre nuts. I bet it will be fun though if you can do it without killing yourself.

100 miles/day is actually pretty reasonable once you get into the swing of things. The first couple days will be shorter because you just don't have the "bike" muscles unless you've been training intensely on a bike-- running helps with cardio in general, but doesn't build the biking muscles. The last couple days will likely be a bit shorter too b/c it will be through mountain passes :S
