.RAR movies? How do i get them to work?

.RAR movies? How do i get them to work?
I d/l'd ironman and its in .RAR format. It won't let me watch the movie, so I downloaded winrar and i decompressed them, but even after that it won't let me watch them. So how do i do this?

You need winrar or other rar-opening programs. RAR is similar to a ZIP and is just a way of archiving or compressing files.
Then use VLC Media Player to play it.
I downloaded ironman a couple days ago as well:
Private bittorrent trackers and mediacom internet ftw
~40 minutes for a full length HD movie is not bad.

Go to where you downloaded it, right click the rar file, and choose "extract here."
Somewhere, in that folder, will be an extra file that is the movie.
Look for an avi or mkv file.

well i searched all the files and found one that had a gold disc next to it, so i opened that one. that was power2go, so i burned it to a disc and it works on the computer, but havent tried it on a dvd player yet.

Never download a movie zipped or rar'd. Generally they contain some sort of virus or tracker from the movie companies. Stick with straight video formats. They aren't hard to find.
I haven't downloaded movies in a while. I'm streaming everything now. I hate buffering and the mediocre quality, but I like not having to worry too much about the legality of things. I also like the instant gratification of hitting play and watching the movie right then and there vs downloading and waiting.
