bull ---- the ltr450 is lighter more powerful and has way better suspension
the craptor is a trail quad the ltr450 is a race quad

The land where the Raptor is the fastest bike evar. :S (Even though nobody ever won a race riding a Raptor. Even in the open classes where you can run them they get dominated.)

The Craptor was designed by Yamaha to be sold to rednecks. They sell it as a "700" when its only 680cc. All the 450's have 450cc's within tenths. Becuase rednecks equate displacement to speed, they buy the Craptor thinking its the fastest thing ever even though it has less compression than a Econo Honda Civic, weighs almost the same and is just about as fast.


At least now they have a tranny that lasts more than 2 rides. :l

youre wrong raptors are superior to everything because johnny owns one. if he was riding a 250 he would make an arguement that its the best cquad ever because its light and has a shaft drive so it never needs chains like other quads.

bottom line any 450>raptor700

how about the new polaris 525 with the KTM motor. that would rape a raptor also.

yes i have raped allot of craptors with my outlaw 525s on the drag and they can't even come close to stay with me arround the track (the outlaw is all stock except for pipe,jet, and filter) the raptor i raced on a mx track suposidly had 10k in it and had like $3k in elka shocks and a 731big bore bike 250cc fuel injectors and the guy claimed 80whp (the 525 is 56 at the crank give or take 1-2hp)

nope

the 525 is slower than the rapt 700 in a drag race and top speed. but only slightly slower.

dirt wheels magazine did a comparison test on them. rapt wins in every department.

the only 450 quad that is faster than the rapt 700 is the yfz450 and thats only in a drag race and its very close. top speed the rapt is faster.

the only quads i've lost to that were stock or near stock in a drag race with my rapt was a pipe'd, box'd rapt and a yfz450.

search youtube for raptor 700r videos and you'll see a ton of drag races where the rapt dominates every 450 there is.

of couse all the 450s are better for track racing... thats pretty obvious.

but in a drag race the rapt rules
