The land where the Raptor is the fastest bike evar. :S (Even though nobody ever won a race riding a Raptor. Even in the open classes where you can run them they get dominated.) The Craptor was designed by Yamaha to be sold to rednecks. They sell it as a "700" when its only 680cc. All the 450's have 450cc's within tenths. Becuase rednecks equate displacement to speed, they buy the Craptor thinking its the fastest thing ever even though it has less compression than a Econo Honda Civic, weighs almost the same and is just about as fast. At least now they have a tranny that lasts more than 2 rides. :l |

different dyno 06 rapt vs 07 outlaw on same dyno right after eachother. both done in 5th gear.

you know what else is great about craptor 700s?
i put 87 in my quad, smoke all the quads that need 92... ::) and if i wanted to put a piston in my motor, and bump the compression up close to the 450s... from 9.2:1 to 11:1... its easy and they make a lot more power than the 450s then. and the 450s already have high compression so scratch that off the list for mods unless you want to go with race gas ::) |

raptor 700r owns outlaw 525 in all areas. and this BS about the outlaw being a great track bike is ------- retarded. the IRS is not a huge advantage. or even a advantage at all unless you like to creepy crawl over ---- like a old ------- man. i did a lot of research before i bought my rapt and one of the quads i was really interested in was the outlaw 525. if you sit them next to eachother the rapt is a much better machine all around. the 525ktm is also a high maintenance motor compared to the very low matenince of the rapt 700, and of course the outlaw has a shitload of goofy ------- fasteners which make is a PITA to work on yourself f polaris quads |
