Buy a real drill bit, use a lubricating oil, and make a jig out of a block of wood that keeps the bit from walking.
When the head broke off the bolt, all the tension is normally relieved. You couldn't thread it out of the head because you couldn't get any friction on it to grab it. Once you get *anything* to bite down onto it'll slip right out. If the cap gets fubar then grab another off a different head. Any good machinist can massage it so that the cam doesn't bind without a full blown align bore. Honda holds some pretty close tolerances, it won't be off by much. |
