Buy a real drill bit, use a lubricating oil, and make a jig out of a block of wood that keeps the bit from walking.

When the head broke off the bolt, all the tension is normally relieved. You couldn't thread it out of the head because you couldn't get any friction on it to grab it. Once you get *anything* to bite down onto it'll slip right out.

If the cap gets fubar then grab another off a different head. Any good machinist can massage it so that the cam doesn't bind without a full blown align bore. Honda holds some pretty close tolerances, it won't be off by much.

Aside from the whole blatant anti-semistist deamnor, I'm so glad I voted for you. So, this is the update. I bought a cobalt drill bit and it seems to be doing well, but it appears that the bit started slipping towards the cam. I'd imagine it has something to do with the bit perferring to drill aluminum rather that M8 steel. I went and got some liquid metal filler and refilled the hole. I figure that if I get the hole started in this filler material which I imagine will be easier to drill, I can get a straight hole started earlier and it will stay straight the whole way down. the jig idea is great, I'll use that as well. I just hope I don't ---- up this head too bad D: I know a new one won't be within my budget.

In all seriousness, I have nothing against 95% of American Jews. I only dislike the middleaged ones I've met from the Jersey/NYC area because they are predominantly rude, mannerless curs trying to provoke everyone around them into a a negative reaction so they can act like everyone is against them and fulfill their persecution complex. The local Jewish kids are pretty cool, so are the ones who've relocated here from Cali I've chilled with.

However, this is HMT, bitch, what were you expecting? I'm not going to insult the black man by calling you a ------. :P

Center punches are better than a block of wood :P

Good luck center punching hardened fasteners like Honduh cam cap bolts. Stick to the free online herpes screenings, thanks.
