Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.
Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.
Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.
Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head.
Now it gets really weird.
Lincoln 's secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln.
Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.
Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.
John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.
Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.
Now hang on to your seat.
Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Ford.'
Kennedy was shot in a car called ' Lincoln' made by 'Ford.'
Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse.
Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a theater.

And here's the kicker...
A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was in Marilyn Monroe.

haha I like that last one.. I remember reading this somewhere. Good stuff.
edit:
Not to start ---- but I don't believe Oswald's shot killed Kennedy... its just not possible with the way his head exploded and the reloading time...

Oh kids and american history
He was shot a couple of times, or was hit in a few places, the killer blow was the head, which pretty much exploded. Also the guy in front of him, I think the governor, was shot, according to the experts, by that magic bullet that changed paths in mid air .
If you haven't go find the movie JFK, I think it was Kevin Costner before he sucked, its like 4 hours long and about the investigation and trial after he was shot, came out maybe back in 91 or so. Good ----, based on the transcripts of the trials and information available back then.
Of course it is a movie, so make your judgements later.

also, the time inbetween the bullet that Oswald's shot that hit both the president and the governer and the blow to kennedy's head was shorter than the reloading time for oswald's gun by about a second. Also the brain matter went on the trunk, and oswald was facing the back of kennedy's head. Explain that one.

Re: Randomness about Lincoln/Kennedy
I saw somewhere that they could prove that the one bullet hit both the Prez and the Gov, like you are saying, in a perfect condition, even if it sounded incredible it was possible.
But there was definately more than one bullet and one shooter, in my opinion. We might never know
